Merrimack Management Associates (MMA) provides consulting and professional management services for business and industry, foundations, initiatives, projects and other collaborative programs.  Our work focuses on creating economic vibrancy through new models of innovative, mutually supportive connections.    Like the Merrimack River for which we are named, we believe that swiftly-flowing resources that are extensively shared and productively harnessed can create unlimited value for business, society and the environment.  We take a local perspective to global issues and opportunities.

Merrimack Management Associates is a strategic partner with the EASE Initiative (at  www.easeinitiative.com).  MMA helps EASE bring its on-line systems, initiatives and programs into general use.  MMA serves foundations, corporations, social movements and the change-focused consulting community to help their large-scale efforts.

THE EASE LARGE-SCALE CHANGE SUITE
The EASE Initiative Empowerment System™ (IES) is the first of its kind large-scale change system focused on helping organizations work across boundaries to achieve shared goals.  It can be used for any purpose that requires broad participation (thousands of people) and trustworthy accountability. It enables programs aligned with a larger purpose to become financially self-sustaining over time and to scale their best practices.   IES incorporates new facilitation processes with on-line meeting, planning, purchasing, advertising, knowledge-sharing and performance tracking and reporting into a single cohesive environment. 
The EASE Market Shaping System™ (MSS) offers single organizations almost all of the same capabilities that IES makes available, with slightly different Marketplace revenue sharing and reporting of fund uses

CURRENT INITIATIVES
MMA has worked with EASE to design several purpose-specific Initiatives based upon the IES model.  These will demonstrate the power of the IES approach and quick-start  impact on key issues. Each Initiative is ready to be implemented upon funding.

Convenes around issues common to municipal life such as job creation, disaster mitigation and response, climate, public/private projects.

Convenes around issues common to universities and secondary schools such as curriculum, research, student life, climate, tuition and funding.

Resilient Youth Convenes around issues common to people ages 15-35 including empowerment of youth projects and leadership, social networking tied to purpose, creativity.
